Club Penguin is a free, online virtual world where penguin get to chat and play minigames! This is how to join:

Join

Click play now on the Home Page. Then click Create a New Penguin.

Then, you must agree to the rules and terms of service.

Now, choose a name for your penguin and a color for your penguin. NOTE: You can change your penguin color after you join for 20 coins. You Cannot change your penguin name.

Now you are asked to pick a password for your account and then confirm it. Next, you will have to type in your parents email to get your account activated. NOTE: remember to ask your parents to go to their email and activate your account.

Your email will include your activation code. Also your email includes a link to activate your account. Click that link and you will be shown a page where it asks you to type your penguin name and activation code. Do that.

Now you will have to choose if you would like to do ultimate chat or standard chat. This is what each option allows you to do:

ULTIMATE SAFE CHAT: Allows you to chat with given words from the club penguin team only! you cannot type your own words.

STANDARD SAFE CHAT: Allows you to chat in a small bar of anything you would like. But some bad words may not be filtered.

Now you will have to agree to the terms of use.

Then choose what you would like to do!

NOW YOU HAVE OFFICIALY JOINED CLUB PENGUIN!

In the Club Penguin Island there is a lot to discover.

You can click your penguin to view it’s inventory and coins.

You can click somewhere on the island to waddle to it. Or, you can use your map. Click on doors or pathways to go to the next room.

You can play mini games on the island too! All you have to do is click on a game. You can play multiplayer for some games, but most are single player. Play games to earn coins that you can spend on furniture and clothing!

You can chat with the chat bar at the bottom of your screen if you chose standard safe chat. if you chose Ultimate Safe chat you will only be able to use the word box.

Mail: you are also allowed to send mail to penguins and sometimes you will recieve mails too. Click the postcard at the top left corner of your screen. It is not the newspaper.

Click new message to send a message to one of your buddies!

 

Buddies: You can add buddies in club penguin. Once you have added a buddy he or she will appear on your buddy list. You can click on that buddy to view their player card. Click the red x to delete them from your buddy list. Click the question mark to find out where they are online. Click the house to visit their igloo. Click the postcard to send them a message. Click the moderator badge to report the player.
